The Celtic era produced various kinds of religion some of which contained magical rituals that were thought to have been lost through the ages. However the knowledge of invocations and the oral history of their powers is still alive today. In the modern era their ancient earth-centered power is stronger than ever when contrasted with the current cold, impersonal, high-tech computer age. Thea is one of the few people, who has been chosen to reveal some of this knowledge through her iniliation as white-magic witch. Over the years she has gathered and learned many of these traditional summons and prayers that are spoken during rituals. Many conditions of the ritual have to be considered and employed in accordance to cosmic laws. This is the main groundwork that has been laid to unite and express these cosmically powerful summons and prayers through dance and music. |

Throughout the CD the magical atmosphere of the particular ceremony being held is created. The summons of gods and goddesses and nature's power create a very intense feeling for the listener. Energy is flowing and if one concentrates the forces of its approach are almost visible. Dramatic tension builds and allows one's perceptions to advance. The aniticipation and creation of atmosphere is typical for each song on this album. All songs follow the specific rules and framework characteristic of wicca rituals.
Thea recorded every spoken part on this CD while she was in trance. You can feel every change of her body and mind. This direct recording approach taken for the first time with ancient rituals was exciting for everybody working on this album. No one could deny the deep impressions left by each song. Due to the combination of Thea's incredible performance and the magic of old wicca-rituals these recordings leave a lasting impression. This CD has been made in order to recharge nearly forgotten memories and feelings, and re-visit the ancient era of the wicca's past. |
